Practical astrology in two parts : the first part containeth an easie introduction to the whole art of astrologie ... : the second part sheweth the resolution of all manner of horary questions which concern the life of man, his estate, brethren, or short journeys ...
Middleton, John, Philomath.

Hath the Querent any publick Ene∣mies?

In the resolution of this Question, be∣hold if the Lord of the Ascendant be in Quadrate or Opposition to the Lord of the 7th; or if you finde a Planet or Pla∣nets in the 7th House in Quadrate or Opposition to the Lord of the Ascendant, you may judge the Querent hath publick Enemies.

If you finde many Planets in the 7th Page  224afflicting the Lord of the Ascendant or Luna, or if you finde many Planets ca∣sting their malevolent rays to the Ascen∣dant, or to a benevolent Planet in the Ascendant, you may judge the Querent hath many publick Enemies.

Consider what House the afflicting Pla∣net is Lord of, and from hence you may know who are the Querents publick Ene∣mies; as, if the Lord of the third, they are the Querents Brethren; and so of the rest of the Houses in order: you may judge by the strongest Significators which will overcome.
