Shall the Querent have Children?

Herein you are to consider, if the signe ascending, the signe of the Fifth, and the signes wherein the Lord of the Ascendant, the Lord of the Fifth, and the Moon, are posited in fruitful signes, viz. Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, you may conclude that the Querent shall have Children.

If the Lord of the Ascendant, or the Moon, be in Conjunction, Sextile, or Trine to the Lord of the Fifth from good Hou∣ses; or if some other Planet transfer the light of the Lord of the Ascendant to the Lord of the Fifth, these are very strong arguments that the Querent shall have Children.

Or if you finde the Lord of the 5th in the Ascendant, or the Lord of the As∣cendant or the Moon in the 5th, or in Sextile or Trine to a benevolent Planet in the 5th, well fortified, and free from the malevolent aspects of the Infortunes, you may safely judge the Querent shall have Children.

But if on the contrary you finde the signe ascending and the signe of the 5th barren signes, which are Leo, Virgo, and Gemini, you may conjecture the Querent will have no Children, except some of the other testimonies affirmative hap∣pen.

If all the aforesaid Significators be po∣sited in barren signes, it denoteth the same.

If you finde Saturn, Mars, or Dragons tail in the 5th, especially in barren signes, it denies Issue.

If you finde Saturn or Mars in Quadrate or Opposition to the 5th, or to the Lord of the 5th; or if the Lord of the 5th be Combust, you may pass the same Judge∣ment.

Your best and safest way in judging hereof, is to collect the testimonies of Barrenness and Fruitfulness, and judge

by the major testimonies; and you can∣not fail in your Judgement, if you keep you close to your Rules which I have de∣livered.
