CCXLVII. Hill. 29 Eliz. In the Common Pleas.
A Copyholder with the leave of the Lord Leased for years,* 1.1 and afterwards surrendred the Reversion with the Rent, to the use of a stranger; who was admitted accordingly. It was moved, If in this case there needed any Attornment, either to settle the Reversion, or to create a privity?
It was holden in this Case by-Rhodes and Periam, Iustices, That the surrender and admittance, ut supra, are in the nature of an Inrollment, and so amount to an Attornment; or at the least, do supply the want of it.
