days in six quarts of White Wine over hot Embers, then distill them in B. M. and keep the Water for use.
This Water is much us'd in France for Contusions, Dislocations and the Resolu∣tion of Tumours, to cleanse Wounds and Ulcers, and to resist Mortification; they call it Eau d'arquebusade.
