Trials.
Hypocrites may bee thankfull for foolish and vaine glorious things, Luk. 18.11.
It is matter of plea in prayer, for deliver∣ance from enemies, that we may give thanks un∣to his holy name, and glory in his praise, 2 Chron. 16 25.
It is pleaded for de∣liverance from trouble, that we may live to be thankfull, Ps 6.5.
We must give thanks because it is good, and for his everlasting mer∣cy, Psal. 118.1.
Its action differences our eating or not eat∣ing unto the Lord, Rom. 14.6.
Abundant grace through the Thanksgi∣ving of many, redounds to the glory of God, 2 Cor. 4.15,
Rich bountifulnesse to the Saints, causeth thanksgiving unto God 2 Cor. 4.15.
