XIX. Vertues of his blood.

THe Church was purchased by his blood, Acts 20.28.

God sent him forth to bee a propitiation through faith in his blood:

To declare his righ∣teosnesse for the sinnes which are past through the forbearance of God Rom. 3.25.

By his blood we shal bee saved from wrath through him, Rom. 5.9

In him we have re∣demption through his blood, which is the for∣givenesse of sins accor∣ding to his rich grace, Ephes. 1.7.

Those sometime afar off are made neer by his blood, Eph. 2.13.

We have redemption through His blood, which is the forgivenes of sins, Col. 1 14.

Having made peace by his blood, by him he reconciled all things unto himself, things in heaven, and things in earth, Col. 1.20.

Neither by the blood of buls and calves, but by his own blood en∣tred he once into the holy place, and obtain∣ed eternall redemption

for us, Hebrews 9 12.

By his blood we may be bold to enter into the holy place, Heb. 10.19.

We are elect accord∣ding to the foreknow∣ledge of God the Fa∣ther unto sanctification of the Spirit, through obedience and sprink∣ling of the bloud of Christ Jesus, 1 Pet. 1, 2.

Wee are redeemed, not with corruptible things as with silver and gold,

But with the preci∣ous blood of Christ, as with a Lamb undefiled and without spot, 1 Pet. 1.18.

He hath redeemed us unto God by his blood out of every kingdome and tongue and people and nation, Rev. 5.19.
