The years which passed from the beginning of the Captivity of Babylon, to the destruction of the second Temple, mea∣sured by whole Hundreds.

THat interval was of 600 years, which were divided as followeth.

Two hundred years from the beginning of the Captivity, to the end of the Em∣pire of the Persians. There endeth the History of the Old Testament, and the tenth Prophetical year, as we have seen already.

Three hundred years from the end of the Empire of the Persians, to the end of the Empire of the Grecians.

One hundred years from the end of the Empire of the Grecians, to the destructi∣on of the second Temple, and of the State of the Jews.
