Take a pleasant Butt of Malmsey cal∣led Ratnew, and draw it half out, and fill it up within four or five gallons with fat Bastard, then Parrel it with six yolks of eggs, and one handful of Bay salt, and a pint of Conduit water, beat them well together, and then put them into the Butt, and if the colour be too deep or too high, thn take three gallons of skimmed milk, and eight whites of eggs, and mingle them well together with the milk, and put them into the Butt and they will mood it; and for the p••••a∣sant taste thereof, take four penny∣worth of Sugar, Long Pepper and Cloves, of each two pennyworth, bruise them, and put them all in 〈◊〉〈◊〉 the Butt, then heat the Butt 〈…〉〈…〉
