NOne ought, as long as he continues in this mortal Life, so far presume upon the secret Mystery of Divine Predestination, as positively to determine him∣self among the number of the Predestinate: as if it were true, That a Righteous Man cannot Sin any more; or, if he do, he may promise himself a true Repen∣tance thereof: For it cannot be known, unless by special Revelation, whom God hath elected.
