Having immersed a Thermoscope in Spirit of Salt, I pour'd Spirit of fermented Urine leisure∣ly upon it, and observ'd, that the Mixture by a
mutual Conflict growing hot,* 1.1 sensibly raised the Spirit of Wine; which being done, and a Salt obtained from the evaporated Mixture, not much unlike Sal-Armoniack, it was carefully dri∣ed, and being put into Water, in which a Ther∣moscope was placed, upon its dissolution, whilst it was stirred about, the Spirit of Wine in the Weather-glass gradually subsided.
