  • June 20. 76.* 1.1 SOwre Cherries whole, being put into one Re∣ceiver, and others cut into another; The whole ones rais'd the Mercury in two hours, 10 Lines; the dissected ones, 20.
  • June 21. The whole ones rais'd the Mercury to 3 Inehes; the other Gage was spoil'd.
  • June 26. The whole ones rais'd the Mercury 15 Digits; The other Receiver was full of Air.
  • July 9. The Receiver being remov'd from it's Cover, I eat a Cherry, which was well tasted: The rest being included in Vacuo, and some of them broke, in an hour rais'd the Mercury 2 Digit.
  • July 10. The Mercury ascended not, because the Gage was spoil'd.
