June 29. 77.* 1.1TWO Receivers stopp'd with Screws con∣taining Roses, so much Air was squeez'd into one, as rais'd the Mercury 90 Digits.
July 14. The Roses in the common Air were alter'd. But the others began to wither and look yellow about 4 days ago.
July 17. Being taken out, those in the compress'd Air were much corrupted, and of an ungrateful Smell; The others had undergone very little Alteration. From hence it further appears, that the Quantity of Corruption depends on the Quantity of Air.
