SHiloah Emanull, Christ, the only Sonne of God, the brightnesse of his Glory, the* exprsse Image of his P••son, Heire of all things, moe excellent then the An∣gels, havig Honour, Glory, Power, Strength, Prayse, Dignitie, Riches and Wise∣dome, (yea all reasures of knowledge and wisedome) The Heathen for his inheri∣tance, the Erth for his Possessions, and the Heavenly places for his seat, farre above all power, Miht, Dominion and Principalities, with a Name given him above all names, (t which every nee should bow, &c) Being the second Person in Trinitie, begotten of his Father from Eternitie, in one Prson the Sonne of God, and very man; * Man, (non excuno quod habuit, sed induendo quod non habuit) not by loosing that he had, but by accepting wht he had not, our miserable nature, Conceived of a Vir∣gin by the Holy Ghost, Called of his Father ever since the fall of Adam, to be a Me∣diator betwene God and Man, desired of the Patriarches, pefigured in the Law, foretold by the Prophets, accomplished in the time of Grace, * manifested in the flsh, Justified in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached unto the Gentiles, beleeved on in the world, and receved up into glory: For man became a King to rule, a Prophet to teach, and a Priest to sacrifice.
