Adjectives in [inus] derived from things non-animate, viz. from Herbs or Plants, Stones, and vari∣ous other Matters (of which kind are many formed of Greek Words:) Also Adje∣ctives derived from Adverbs of Time, or from Substantives denoting the four Principal Seasons of the Year, are always short in the Penul∣tima, or last Syllable save one.
