Bate.] ℞ White Poppy-seed ℥j. Sweet Almonds blanched ℥iv. Eryngo-root condited ℥ij. The four greater cold Seeds, Ana ℥ss. Sugar-candy ℥ij. mix and beat them into a Paste, S. A. At time of using it: ℞ Of this Paste ℥j. Aqua hordeata lbj. mix and make an Emul∣sion, S. A.

Salmon.] § 1. It is singu∣lar good against pain, heat, and sharpness of Urine, or scalding thereof, making of bloody Urine, or pissing Blood, and the like.

§ 2. The Patient may drink a Draught of the E∣mulsion about Eight in the Morning: another Draught about Eleven a Clock: a Third at Four in the After∣noon: and the last at Night going to Bed.

§ 3. But you ought to be cautious, that the Coldness thereof may not hurt the Stomach; if any such thing be perceived, add to the Emulsion ℥j. of Aqua Mira∣bilis.
