Bate.] ℞ White Sugar∣candy in fine Pounder ℥iv. Oil of Sweet-Almonds new drawn ℥j. vel q. s. beat them well into a Paste. S. A. Hold a little thereof often in the mouth.

Salmon.] § 1. It is of sin∣gular use against Coughs, Colds, Shortness of Breath, Difficulty of Breathing Whee∣sings, Hoarseness, and other Distempers of the Latinx, Brest and Lungs.

§ 2. Let it be held five, six, or seven times a day, or more, in the Mouth, and suf∣fered to distil down at lei∣sure; more especially let it be used at such times as the Cough is present and trou∣blesome; but at other times at discretion.
