Bate.] ℞ Castor in fine Pou∣der ʒss. Assa Fetida ℈j. Oyl of Amber ℈ss. mix, and tie it up in a bit of Silk in form of a Nodule. Let it be often held to the Nostrils in time of the Fit.

Salmon.] § 1. If you add to it gut. iv. of Oil of Harts∣horn, it will be much the better for this purpose.

§ 2. It is good to smell to (for such as are troubled with Vapours, or Hysterick Fits, or such as are apt to these Distempers, but not usual with them) at other times, by way of prevention, in which cases I have known it used with success.
