℞ Oil of Roses ℥jss. Em∣plaistrum de Minio ℥j. white Wax ℥ss. being melted add Aethiops Minerale ʒij. Opium ℥ss. Saffron, Nutmegs, Camo∣mile-flowers, A. ʒj. Syrup of Roses ℥j. by a gentle heat ex∣hale the Humidity, and mix them well, S. A.

Salmon.] § 1. It is not only good against the Piles, which it cures by anoint∣ing; but also a singular and approved thing against the Gout, or any vehement Pain in what part of the Body soever.

§ 2. First, anoint the part afflicted therewith; then spreading it upon Lea∣ther, apply it, binding it on.

§ 3. It has been found also by Experience to be an excel∣lent thing to dissolve Tumors, and Kernels in the King's Evil, being applied and re∣newed every other day.
