Bate.] ℞ Man's Greaseiv. Goose Grease, Badgers Grease, A.iij. Oil of Baysij. Sage, Marjoram, Elder, dwarf Elder, Calamint, Ori∣ganum, Lavender, A. M. j. boil all to the Consumption of the Juices, and press out; add Balsam of Amberj. Butter of Macess. Petroloeum, Oil of Spike, A. ʒij. mix them, S. A. Anoint on the Spina Dorsi, or Back-bone, for the Rickets. Use it in the Morn∣ing; and at Night a little before going into Bed, lay over it greasie Wool, as it is new shorn off the Sheeps Back, and binding it fast to with a double Linnen Cloth sewed on.

Salmon.] § 1. It is design∣ed as an external help against the Rickets, and it is of good use for such Children, as cannot be easily made to take things inwardly.

§ 2. But besides anointing the Back-bone, it will be necessary to anoint the Sto∣mach therewith Morning and Evening, as also all the Joynts affected.
