new drawn lbjss. inso∣late forty days; then express out: add fresh Flowers of Water-lillies and of white Lil∣lies, A.iv. insolate again twenty days; and express the Oil; to which add Oil of Jassemyiv. Civet ʒj. mix S. A. and make a Balsam. Anoint therewith the Perinaeum, Groins, Loins, Flanks of Women, 〈 in non-Latin alphabet 〉〈 in non-Latin alphabet 〉, in pariendi difficultate, who have hard Labour, or are not easily delivered.

Salmon.] § 1. The Oil is much better made by boil∣ing till the Flowers are crisp; and they may all be put in at once, as well as at seve∣ral times, by which means it will also be sooner done.

§ 2. But it will be no per∣fect Balsam without the ad∣dition of some proper Resin; of which kind are Turpentines of all sorts; to the former Oil, after expression you may add, Strasburg Turpentine, Balsam Capivi, Balsam of Tolu, Chio Turpentine, A.jss. Liquid Styraxiv. which mix well.

§ 3. Being thus compound∣ed, it will be much more powerful for the intended purpose, besides which it will be a very good Vulne∣rary; and if any of the parts be hurt or torn in the bringing forth of the Child, it will speedily and safely heal them.
