ALso knowe that ofte and many tymes the ministracion of me∣dicines to the syckenes of the heade may not be prolonged to the Moone be in Aries, wherfore ye may then set

the Moone in Leo, or Sagittarye, mixinge the herbes of the head with theyr other medecines bycause of the concordance and tryplicite, of signes in their qualities. Furthermore if ye can not tarye the comminge of these two sygnes, then at any tyme myxe your herbes of the heade with all o∣ther kinde of medecines that ye wyl gyue for the head, and so shal alway the vertue of the heuens and sterres be conueyed to the heade, and thus vnderstande of the other sygnes and partes of the bodye.

❧ Also knowe that there is a tri∣plicite of the partes and members of man as there is in the sygnes of heauen, so that many tymes may be ministred medicines to the one mem¦bre for the sickenes of the other, as medecynes mynistred to the herte or thyghes, helpethe the sickenes of the head, and so forth as appereth in the table aboue sayde.

ALso there is an other my∣nistracyon accordynge to the .xxviii. māsions of the Moone, as when ye wyll minister any medecynes yt is moyst

of operacion for what purpose or to any parte of the bodye that ye wyll, ye shall consyder when the Moone is in a moystye mansion, and then minister. Also the kinde of moist me∣decines, are Digestiffes, Mollifica∣tyffes, Maturatiffes, Alteratyffes, Mytygatiffes, Solutyffes, and so forth. And when the Moone is in a dry mansion, ye shall minister al dry medecines of operacion, whose pro∣perties are for the most part to hold and restraine, to mitigate, to alter, & to diuert. &c. And when the Moone is in a temperate mansyon, ye shall conserue helth & comfort by al kinde of medecines, furthermore forgette not to mixe your medecines with the medecines aforesaide belonginge to the sterres and partes of mans body that the influēce of the heuens may be brought to these partes of the bo∣dy, that ye do minister for, & for this purpose here dothe folowe a table of
