EXHORTATION.

YE shall not regard them that worke with Spi∣rites, neither Soothsayers:* 1.1 ye shall not seeke to them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

If any turne after such as worke with Spirits,* 1.2 and after Soothsayers, to goe a whooring after them, then will I set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.* 1.3

Let none be found among you that maketh his sonne or his daughter to goe through the fire, or that vseth Witchcraft, or a regarder of Times, or a marker of the flying of Fowles, or a Sorcerer,

Or a Charmer, or that counsaileth with Spirites, or a Soothsayer, or that asketh counsaile at the dead.

For all that doe such thinges, are abomination vnto the Lord: and because of these abominations, the Lord thy God doth cast them out before thee.
