his seruauntes: Feare the Lorde with all thy soule, and honour his priestes. Geue them their portion of the first fruites and increase of the earth like as it is commaun∣ded thee: and reconcile thy self of thy negli∣gence with the litle flocke: geue them the shoulders, and their appointed offeringes and firstlinges.

* 1.2 My sonne, do good to thy selfe of that thou hast, and geue the Lorde his due of∣feringes.

* 1.3 Geue God his honour with a cheerefull hearte, and keepe not backe the firstlinges of thy handes. In all thy giftes shew a mer∣cifull countenaunce, and hallowe thy tithes vnto God with gladnesse. Geue vnto God according as he hath enriched and prospe∣red thee. And looke what thy hande is able, geue with a cheerefull eye: for the Lorde recompenceth and geueth the seuen times as much againe.
