Take ye rootes of Gencian made in fine pouder. Or take the iuice of Gencian iii. vnces. mix it with white vineger, and wash ye face or place oft with it. Or els take a skarlet cloth and rub the face or place with Mandragor leues. And to bed∣ward annoynte the face with oyle of ye Ashe keyes. Or els take the rootes of Madder .iii. vnces, stampe it with white vyneger, and rub the face or place with it.
