Il popolo ha questa natura, che come i suoi
maggiori gli cominciano à cedere, & à condo∣narē alcuna cosa, non si vede mai satio, se' non occupa il tutto, di poi fastidito di se stesso si di s' vnisce, & genera nuoui di sordini. Onde chi pensa di contentarlo nelle sue querele s' inganna, essendocene mille essempi in contrario; però bisogna con esso temporeggiare, ò hauer forze gagliarde da batterlo nelle sue ostinationj, ma sempre tenerlo non dimeno con abbondanza, & con buona giustitia.
