preast value it. And whether it be good or bad as the preast setteth it, so shall it be. And yf he will bye it agayne, let him gyue the fyfte parte more to that it was set at.
Yf any man dedicate his house, it shall be holy vnto the Lorde. And the preast shall set it, whether it be good or bad, and as ye preast [ C] hath set it, so it shall be. Yf he that sanctified it, wil redeme his housse, let him gyue the fift parte of the money that it was iuged at ther∣to, and it shalbe his.
Yf a man halowe a pece of his enheryted lande vnto the Lorde, it shall be set according to that it beareth. Yf it beare an homer of bar¦ley, it shall be set at fyftye sycles of syluer. Yf he vowe his lande forthwith from the yere of Iubely, it shalbe worthe accordynge as it is estemed. But yf he halowe his felde after the trompet yere, the preast shall recken the pryce with him accordynge to the yeres ye remayne vnto the trompet yere, and therafter, it shall be lower set.
Yf he that sanctifyed the felde will redeme it agayne, let him put the fyfte parte of the pryce that it was set at thervnto, and it shall be his, yf he will not, it shall be redemed no more. But when the felde goeth out in ye yere of Iubylye, it shalbe holy vnto the Lorde: e∣uen as a thinge dedycated, and it shall be the preastes possession.
Yf a man sanctifie vnto ye Lorde a felde, whi∣che [ D] he hath boughte and is not of his enheri∣taunce, then the preast shall reken with hym what it is worth vnto the yere of Iubyly, and he shall gyue the pryce that it is set at ye same daye, and it shalbe holy vnto the Lorde. But in the yere of Iubely, the felde shall returne vnto him of whome he bought it, whose en∣heritaunce of lande it was.
And all settynge shall be accordynge to the holy sycle. One sycle maketh .xx. Geras.
But the first borne of the beastes that per∣tayne vnto the Lorde, maye no man sanctify: whether it be oxe or shepe, for they are ye Lor¦des alredy. Yf it be an vncleane beaste, then let him redeme it as it is set at, and gyue the fyfte parte more therto. Yf it be not redemed then let it be solde as it is rated.
Notwithstandynge no dedycated thynge ye a man dedycateth vnto the Lorde, of all his good, whether it be man or beast or lande of his enheritaunce, shalbe solde or redemed: for all dedicate thinges are mooste holy vnto the Lorde. No dedicate thinge therfore that is de¦dicate of man, may be redemed, but must ne∣des dye.
All these tythes of the lande, whether it be of the corne of the felde or frute of the trees, shalbe holy vnto the Lorde. Yf any man will redeme ought of his tythes, let him adde the fyfte parte more therto. And the tythes of oxē and shepe and of all that goth vnder the heed mans kepynge, shall be holy tythes vnto the Lorde. Men shal not loke yf it be good or bad nor shall chaunge it. Yf any man chaunge it then both it and that it was chaunged with∣all, shalbe holy and may not be redemed. These are the commaundementes which the Lorde gaue Moses in char∣ge to gyue vnto the children of Is∣rael in mount Si∣nai.
