But when my loue put in his hande at the hole, my hert was moued towarde him: so yt I stode vp to open vnto my beloued My han∣des dropped with Myrre, and the Myrre ran downe my fyngers vpon the locke. Neuerthe∣lesse, when I had opened vnto my beloued, he was departed and gone his waye.

Now like as a fore tyme when he spake, my hert could not longer refrayne: Euen so now I sought hym, but I coulde not fynde him: I cryed vpon him, neuerthelesse he gaue me no answere.
