PSAL. IIII. ¶ To the chaunter in Neginoth, a Psalme of Da∣uid.

HEare me when I call, O God of my [ A] righteousnes: thou that confortest me in my trouble: haue mercy vpon me, & herken vnto my prayer.

O ye sonnes of men, how longe wil ye blas¦pheme myne honour? why haue ye such plea¦sure in vanitie, and seke after lyes? Selah.

Knowe this, that the Lord dealeth marue¦lously with his saynte: and when I cal vpon the Lorde, he heareth me.

Be angry, but synne not: comē with your owne hertes vpon your beddes, and remem∣bre your selues. Selah.

Offre the sacrifice of righteousnes, and put [ B] your trust in the Lorde.

There be many that saye: who will do vs any good? Lorde lyft vp vpon vs the lyght of thy countenaunce.

Thou reioyseste myne herte, thoughe theyr encreace be greate both in corne and wyne.

Therfore will I lay me downe in peax, and take my rest: for thou Lorde only settest me in a sure dwellynge.
