[ A] BLessed are those that be vndefyled in the waye: whiche walke in the lawe of the Lorde.
Blessed are they that kepe his testimonies, and seke him with their hole hert.
Which walke in his wayes, and ••o no wic¦kednesse.
Thou hast gyuen strayt charge to kepe thy commaundementes.
O that my wayes were stablysshed to kepe thy statutes.
So shoulde I not be confounded, whyle I haue respect vnto all thy commaundemen∣tes.
I wyll thanke the with an vnfayned hert, because I am lerned in the iudgemētes of thy rightousnesse.
I will kepe thy statutes, O forsake me not vtterly.
[ B] BETH.
Where withall shall a yonge man amende his waye? Euen by rulyng him self after thy worde.
With my hole herte do I seke the, O let me not go wronge oute of thy commaundemen∣tes.
Thy wordes haue I hyd within my herte, yt I shulde not synne against the.
Praysed be thou, O Lord, O teache me thy statutes.
With my lyppes will I be tellynge out all the iudgementes of thy mouth.
I haue as great delyte in the waye of thy te¦stimonies, as in all maner of ryches.
I will exercyse my selfe in thy commaunde∣mentes, and haue respecte vnto thy fotepa∣thes.
My delyte shalbe in thy statutes, I wil not forget thy wordes.
GIMEL. [ C]
O do well vnto thy seruaunt, that I maye lyue and kepe thy wordes.
Open thou myne eyes, and so shall I spye out wonderous thinges in thy lawe.
I am a straunger vpon earthe, O hyde not thy commaundementes frome me.
My soule breaketh out, for the very feruent desire that I haue allwaye vnto thy iudge∣mentes.
Thou rebukest the proude, cursed are they that departe frome thy commaundementes.
O turne frome me shame and rebuke, for I kepe thy testimonies.
Princes also sit and speake against me, but thy seruaunt is occupyed in thy statutes.
In thy testimonies is my delyte, they are my councelers.
DALETH. [ D]
My soule cleaueth to the dust, O quycken thou me accordinge to thy worde.
I knowleged my wayes, and thou heedest me, O teache me then thy statutes.
Make me to vnderstande the waye of thy commaundementes, and so shall I talke of thy wonderous workes.
My soule melteth awaye for very heuy∣nesse, Oh set me vp accordynge vnto thy worde.
Take frome me the waye of lyenge, and graunte me thy lawe.
I haue chosen the waye of truth, thy iud∣gementes haue I layde before me.
I stycke vnto thy testimonies, O Lorde cō¦founde me not.
I will runne the waye of thy commaunde∣mentes, when thou haste comforted my hert.
HE. [ E]
Teache me O Lorde the waye of thy statu¦tes, and I shall kepe it vnto the ende.
O gyue me vnderstanding, and I shall kepe thy lawe, yea I shall kepe it with myne hole hert.
Leade me in the path of thy commaunde∣mentes, for that is my desyre.
Enclyne myne herte vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnes.
Oh tourne awaye myne eyes, least they beholde vanytye, and quycken me in thy waye.
O stablysh thy worde in thy seruaunt, that I maye feare the.
Take aw••ye the rebuke that I am afrayde of, for thy iudgementes are amiable.
Beholde, my delyte is in thy commaunde∣mentes, Oh quycken me in thy ryghteous∣nesse.
