Beloued, let vs [therefore] loue one an∣other:* 1.1 for, loue commeth of God, & eue∣rie one that loueth, is borne of God, and knoweth God. He that loueth not, know∣eth not God; for God is loue.

Let vs not loue in vvorde; neither in* 1.2 tongue onely; but in deede and in truth.

That we may walke worthy of the voca∣tion* 1.3 where-vnto wee are called: vvith all humblenes of minde, & meekenesse: with long suffering, supporting one another through loue; endeuouring to keepe the vnitie of the Spirit, in the bond of peace.
