GRacious true God-head, and Immortall Spirit,
The light of goodnesse and the path to life,
The rich Ierusalem, true heauenly merit,
Hater of Folly, and the scourge of strife,

The blessed step whereby our soules doe rise,
The glasse of knowledge, and the prop of blisse,
