The Gospel.

IEsus departed from the coastes of Tyre and Sidon, * and came vnto the Sea of Galilee, through the mids of the coastes of the ten cities. And they brought vnto him one that was deafe, and had an impe∣diment in his speech: and they prayed him to put his hande vpon him. And when he had taken him aside from the people, hee put his fingers into his eares, and did spit, and touched his tongue, and looked vp to heauen, and sighed, and said vnto him,Ephata, that is to say, Bee opened. And Page  [unnumbered] straightway his eares were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plaine. And he commanded them that they should tell no man. But the more hee forbade them, so much the more a great deale they published, saying, He hath done all things well, he hath made both the dease to heare, and the dumbe to speake.
