The Gospel.

IEsus appeared vnto the eleuen as they fate at meate, * and cast in their teeth their vnbeliefe and hardnesse of heart, because they beleeued not them which had seene that hee was risen againe from the dead. And he said vnto them, Go ye into al the world, and preach the Gospel to all creatures: He that beleeueth and is baptized, shal be sa∣ued: but he that beleeueth not, shal be damned. And these to∣kens shall follow them that beleeue: In my name they shall cast out deuils, they shal speake with new tongues, they shall driue away serpents, and if they drinke any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their handes on the sicke, and they shall recouer. So when the Lord had spoken vnto them, hee was receiued into heauen, and is on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached euery where, the Lorde working with them, and confirming the word with miracles following.
