THis yeare of our Lorde sir Edwarde Osborne was elected Lorde Mayor of this Citty, what countrey man he was, or of what parentage I find not, but as an apprentise he serned sir William Huet before remembred, vsing mer∣chandize into France, Spaine, the straights, & other where, and after the ende of his seruice, married his said maisters daughter (hauing no other child) whereby his state was greatly raised, This knight erected an euerlasting monument in remem¦brance of his said mayster, and father in Law, but none hath so requited his kind∣nesse, for he lies buried in saint Dyonise church in Fanchurch street, but hath no mo¦nument, nor further remembrance, as yet can be found, except in his company I may hereafter come to more perfect remembrances.
