Of Assault.

ASsault is an vnlawfull setting vpon ones person. As offering to * 1.1 beate one, though he doe not beate one in deede, striking (d) 1.2 at one with an Hatchet, or such like, though he do not touch him. Whether belongeth lying in waite, besetting his mā∣sion * 1.3 house, and not suffering his seruants to goe in and out, &c.
