Behold, O God, in Rivers of my tears I come to thee, bow down thy blessed ears To bear me wretch, and let my eyes that sleep, Yet never close, behold a sinner weep.

Let notO God my Godmy faults though great
And my poor soul betvveen thy Mercies Seat.
Lord rememberh

If thou be
I comenot Lord withany other merit,
Thenwhat I in my SaviourChrist inherit:
Be thenhis woundsmy birth hisrise my bliss,
My Crown histhorns, my death be lostin his:
And thoumy blestRedeemer,Saviour, God,
Quit my account, withhold thyvengeance rod,
O beg formemy hopes onthee are set,
And Christforgive, and willing, pay the debt.
The linnintowel Ifthou wear, Oyee I know,
O buttothee,Owhethershould I go?
All other helps are vainegrant then to me
I am thycross, thysaving health must be:
O hearken then what I byFaith implore,
Lest Sinand death sinkme for ever more,
Lastly, OGod, my wayes directand guide,
Indeath defend me that Inever slide:
And at the dome letmebe raisedthen
To livewith theesweet JesusChrist, Amen.
