The favour of men.
The favour of some is much desired.
The favour of men is a vanity.
The favour of men is uncertain, oft soone
got, and sooner lost.
The more some desire the favour of men,
the more God denieth them, to exercise their
faith, or to weane them from the world, or
because we performe not our duties to them.
