ST. Jorom speaks of this Author in his Catalogue of Ecclesiastical Writers after this manner:

Ambrose of Alexandria, the Scholar of Didymus, wrote a great Dogmatical Treatise against * 1.1 Apollinarius, and Commentaries upon Job, of which some spoke to me not long ago: This Author is still alive; which shews that he died not till after the Year 392.

And this is all that we have to say of this Author.
