¶ The .xv. Chapter.

ANd I sawe another signe in hevē grett [ A] * 1.1 & mervellous .vii. angells havynge the seven laste plages / for in thē is fulfyl∣led y^• wrath of god. And I sawe as it were a glassye see / mingled with fyre / & thē that had gotten victory of the beest / & of his ymage / & of his marke / & of the nombre of his name stō¦de on the glassye see / havinge y^• harpes of god and they songe the songe of Moses the serva¦unt of god / and the songe of the lambe / sayin∣ge. [ B] Gret and marvellous are thy workes Lor∣de god almyghty / iuste & true are thy wayes / kynge of saynctes. Who shall not feare o lor¦de / and gloryfy thy name? For thou only arte* 1.2 holy / & all gentylls shall come and worship∣pe before the / for thy iudgmentes are made manyfeste.

And after that / I loked / and beholde y^• tem¦ple of the tabernacle of testimony was opyn [ C] in heven / and the seven angelles cam out of the temple / which had the seven plages / clo∣thed in pure & bryght lynnen / and havynge their brestes gyrded with golden gerdelles. And one of the fowre beestes gave vnto y^e se∣vē angells vii. golden vialles / full of y^e wrath

of God which lyveth for ever more. And the temple was full of the smoke of the glory of God / and of his power / and no man was able to entre into the temple / tyll the seven plage of the seven angels were fulfilled.
