¶Rather{us} sō to Athenor was next kīg of frēchmē ye yere of cryst .lxviii. he was a noble man & hardy he defēdid his lād frō ye Gallis & made peae with germayns & saxōs & is buryed at Ratherdame. ¶Richemer sō of Rather{us} was next kīg of frēchmē ye yere of crist .lxxxix. heaydid wīdekīt kīg of sax∣ōs agaīs ye gotis & slew of thē .xx.M. & made his yōger sō callyd Sōno duke & prīce of a gret nūber of peple which dyd īhabyt ye lād now callid ger∣mania / This Sōno had a sō callid Clodo∣mer which byldyd ye towne of Frankford.
