Of the Forceps.
THe Forceps are onely used to take off medicines from diseases, or sometimes to take out a spill, a hair, or a loose bone, or ought else which is offensive, from a wound, or to draw out ought that may by chance come into the ear, nostrils, the mouth, or throat, to the danger of the Patient. Wherefore it is an instrument of continual use, and hath many offices in Chirurgery.
