[date 26] Major Wildman, Mr (sometimes Sir) James Harrington, Mr. (some∣time Alderman) Ireton, and Major Haynes com∣mitted also to the Tow∣er for the like crimes.

[date 27] Captain Rob. Holmes committed to the Tower by order of the Coun∣cil.

[date 28] The truly honourable and no less valiant Gnt. Sir Charles Comp∣ton, departed this life.

[date 27] L. Munson, Sir Henry Mildmay and Mr. Robert allop, all drawn from he Tower of Lond. on sledges with Ropes a∣bout their necks to Ty∣burn, and (having there threaded the Triple-Tree) back again in like manner to the Tower.

[date 30] E. of Peteburgh took Possssion of Tanger in Africa for His Majesty.

[date Fe. 1.] The Genoa Ambassadour took his leave of His Majesty.

[date 7] The condemned Priso∣ners in the Tower brought to the Bar of the House of Peers.

[date 13] Eliz. Queen of Bohe∣mia departed this life.

[date 18] Prodigious winds do∣ing great mischief in most parts.

[date 21] Dyed that most loyal and signal sufferer for the Crown of Engl. Sir John Stawell.

Christopher L. Hatton (that most Pious and Faithul Counsellour to His late Majesty) sworn one of His Majesties mst honourable Privy Counsel, made Gover∣nour of Guernsey durante vita: and the Reversion of that Government most deservedly Confer∣red on his Son.

[date Mar. 16] Miles Corbet, John Okey, and John Barkstead brought Prisoner to the Tower of Lond. having been taken at Delft not many dayes before by the care and faithful∣ness of Sir Geo: Downing

[date 24] Geo: Withers removed from Newgate to the Tower for his wonted Practice of Seditious Li∣belling.
