[date Ap. 2] DEans and Chap¦ters voted against in the H. of Commons

[date 15] Earl Straffords Triall ended. After which the Commons H debatd the bill of Attainde against him, and voted him Guilty of H. Trea∣son, which was Lea∣nedly opposed by th Lord George Dgby (now Earl of Bristol) and o∣thers.

[date] Prince of Orange cam to London.

[date 21] Earl Strafford vote the second time guilty of High Treason by the Commons.

Bill of attainder rea in the House of Lord where many opposed it.

[date 29] Neverthelesse the Lords House also voted him Guilty of H. Trea∣son.

[date Ma.] His Majesty declared himself unsatisfied.

[date] Pr. Mary marryed to the Pr. of Orange, a Whitehall.

[date 3] Protestation framed i the H. of Commons, & the same day many thousands of the City came to Westminste crying out for Justice against the noble Earl.

[date 5] Protestation taken by the Parl.

[date 6] E. Strafford voted the second time Guilty of H. Treason by the H. of Lords.

[date 8] Two Bills (one for the execution of the Earl, the other for con∣tinuation of the Parl.) tendered to his Maje∣sty.

[date 9] His Majesty consul∣ted with the Judges and Bishops.

Some of the Bishops advised him to passe the Bills.

The Earl himself de∣sired him, to sign the Bill for his execution.

[date 10] His Majesty accor∣dingly signed it, so likewise the other for continuance of the Parl. till both H. should consent to the dissolu∣tion thereof.
