Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him h 1.11, and * 1.12 cleave unto him.

And * 1.13 that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams shall be put death (because he hath † 1.14 spo∣ken i 1.15 to turn you away from the LORD k 1.16 your God, which brought you out of the land of E∣gypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way l 1.17 which the LORD thy God commanded to walk in,) * 1.18 so shalt thou put the evil m 1.19 away from the midst of thee.

* 1.20 If thy brother, the son of thy mother n 1.21, or thy son, or thy daughter o 1.22, or the wife of thy bosom p 1.23, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul q 1.24, intice thee r 1.25 secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, (which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers▪) * 1.26

Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hear∣ken unto him, neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him u 1.28.

But * 1.29 thou shalt surely kill him x 1.30; thine hand shall be first upon him, to put him to death y 1.31, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

Then shalt thou b 1.37 inquire, and make search, and ask diligently: and behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you:

Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city c 1.38 with the edg of the sword, * 1.39 destroy∣ing it utterly d 1.40, and all that therein is, and the cattel with the edg of the sword.

And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God e 1.41: and it shall be an heap for ever, it shall not be built again f 1.42.

And * 1.43 there shall cleave nought of the ‖ 1.44 cursed thing g 1.45 to thine hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee h 1.46, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
