1 THus saith the LORD a 1.1, Keep ye ‖ 1.2 judgment, and do justice b 1.3: for my salvation c 1.4 is near to come d 1.5, and my righteousness e 1.6 to be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man f 1.7 that doth this g 1.8, and the son of man that layeth hold on it: that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it i 1.9, and keepeth his hand k 1.10 from doing any evil l 1.11. * 1.12

3 Neither let the son of a stranger m 1.13, that hath joined himself to the LORD n 1.14 speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people, neither let the eunuch o 1.15 say, Behold, I am a dry tree p 1.16.

4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me q 1.17, and take hold of my covenant r 1.18:

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house s 1.19, and within my walls t 1.20, a place and a name better than of sons and daughters u 1.21: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD x 1.22, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD y 1.23, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant:

7 Even them will I * 1.24 bring to my holy mountain z 1.25, and make them joyful a 1.26 in my house of prayer b 1.27: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted up∣on mine altar c 1.28: for * 1.29 mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people d 1.30.

8 The Lord GOD, which gathereth the out-casts of Israel e 1.31, saith, Yet will I gather others to him, † 1.32 be∣sides those that are gathered unto him f 1.33.

9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forrest g 1.34.

10 His h 1.35 watchmen i 1.36 are blind: they are all igno∣rant k 1.37, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark l 1.38, ‖ 1.39 sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber m 1.40.

11 Yea, they are † 1.41 greedy dogs which † 1.42 * 1.43 can ne∣ver have enough n 1.44, and they are shepherds that cannot understand o 1.45: they * 1.46 all look to their own way p 1.47, eve∣ry one for his gain from his quarter q 1.48.

12 Come ye, say they q 1.49, I will fetch wine, and we will fill our selves r 1.50 with strong drink, and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant s 1.51.
