CHAP. XVI.
SEnd ye the lamb ‖ 1.1 to the ruler of the land a 1.2, from ‖ 1.3 † 1.4 Sela b 1.5 to the wilderness c 1.6, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion d 1.7:
2 For e 1.8 it shall be that as a wandring bird ‖ 1.9 cast out of the nest f 1.10, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon g 1.11.
3 † 1.12 Take counsel h 1.13, execute judgment i 1.14, make thy shadow as the night k 1.15 in the midst of noon∣day, hide the out-casts l 1.16, bewray not him that wandreth m 1.17.
4 Let mine out-casts n 1.18 dwell with thee, Moab, be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoi∣ler: for the † 1.19 extortioner is at an end o 1.20, the spoiler ceaseth, † 1.21 the oppressours are consumed out of the land.
5 And in mercy p 1.22, * 1.23 shall the throne q 1.24 be ‖ 1.25 esta∣blished, and he r 1.26 shall sit upon it in truth s 1.27, in the tabernacle t 1.28 of David, judging and seeking judgment u 1.29, and hasting righteousness x 1.30.
6 We have heard of the * 1.31 pride of Moab y 1.32, (he is very proud) even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so z 1.33.
