1. MY son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding.

7. Hear me now therefore, O ye Children, and de∣part not from the words of my mouth.
8. * 1.14 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her House l 1.15.
9. Lest thou give thine honour m 1.16 unto others n 1.17, and thy years o 1.18 unto the cruel p 1.19.
10. Lest strangers q 1.20 be filled with † 1.21 thy wealth, and thy labours r 1.22 be in the house of a stranger,
11. And thou mourn at the last s 1.23, when thy flesh, and thy body t 1.24 are consumed u 1.25,
12. And say, how have I hated instruction x 1.26, and my heart despised reproof y 1.27!
13. And have not obeyed the voice of my Teach∣ers z 1.28, nor enclined mine ear to them that instructed me.
