PSAL. CXLV.
Davids Psalm of praise.

This Psalm and the rest which follow to the end are wholly laudatory, setting forth the praises of God. The excel∣lency of this Psalm appears not onely from the opinion of the Hebrew Writers, but also from the care which the Psalmist took to digest it into such accurate and Alphabe∣tical order, that it migh•…•… be more easily fixed in the mind and memory of the reader.

1 I Will extol thee my God ‖ 1.1 O King a 1.2, and I will bless thy Name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy Name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be prai∣sed; † 1.3 and * 1.4 his greatness b 1.5 is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise thy works to a∣nother c 1.6, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

6 And men shall speak of the might of thy ter∣rible acts: and I will † 1.9 declare thy greatness.

7 They shall ‖ 1.10 abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness e 1.11, and shall sing of thy righ∣teousness.

8 * 1.12 The LORD is gracious and full of com∣passion; slow to anger, and † 1.13 of great mercy.

9 The LORD is good to all f 1.14: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
