17. And I brake † 1.43 the jaws n 1.44 of the wicked, and † 1.45 pluckt the spoil out of his Teeth o 1.46.

18. Then I said p 1.47, I shall die in my nest q 1.48, and I shall multiply my days as the sand r 1.49.

19. My root was † 1.50 spread out * 1.51 by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch s 1.52.

20. My glory was † 1.53 fresh t 1.54 in me u 1.55, and my * 1.56 bow x 1.57 was † 1.58 renewed y 1.59 in my hand.

21. Unto me men gave ear, and waited and kept si∣lence at my counsel z 1.60.

22. After my words they spake not again a 1.61, and my speech dropped upon them b 1.62.

24. If I laughed on them e 1.65, they believed it not f 1.66, and the light of my countenance they cast not down g 1.67.

25. I chose out their way f 1.68, and sat g 1.69 chief h 1.70, and dwelt as a king in the army i 1.71, as one that comforteth the mourners k 1.72.
