This Sirpe, is a Species of Benjamin, from whence sprung an odorifer∣ous Liquor, call'd Laserpitium, quasi, Lac Serpitium, which was so common in Cyrene, that it was call'd Laserpicificerae Cyrenae. These Names, being unknown to us, and making but an indifferent Sound, were not so necessary to be taken notice of in a Translation.
